CAD Technician

Odyssey Engineering Group is looking for an energetic individual that is ready to assist in preparation of construction plans related to development and municipal projects in the Greater Houston area.

CAD Technician

Candidates must be outgoing and friendly, and proficient using Excel, Word, Outlook, and AutoCAD. CAD experience with Civil 3D is a plus, but not required. The role’s primary responsibilities include:

  • Working with Engineers and other CAD Technicians to prepare a full set of plans suitable for construction to meet government specifications and Client’s requirements.
  • Experience in preparing plan and profile, preparing and importing terrain models for existing and proposed surfaces, experience with pipe networks is preferred but not required.
  • Be able to read and understand a set of construction plans and work with a checklist to ensure plans include required information.
  • Employee must be willing to learn and add CAD skills. Odyssey is dedicated to using AutoCAD Civil 3D to its full potential as a tool in preparing our construction plans.   • Familiarity with local government design requirements and regulations is a plus.

Engineering Project Manager

Odyssey Engineering Group is looking for our next strategic hire of a Project Manager in land development and municipal utility district consulting in the Greater Houston area.

Engineering Project Manager

The opportunity at Odyssey Engineering Group is to be part of the management and decision-making team of a rapidly growing, dynamic firm in the civil consulting, land development industry.

Candidate would be responsible for overseeing multiple land development projects and would work directly with company staff to meet the needs and expectations of the Clients.

Candidates are expected to be a registered professional engineering in Texas and have 6+ years of related experience including a minimum of 2 years of managing projects and/or clients. Candidates should have experience in providing consulting services to municipal utility districts.
