Focusing on the people of the industry as well as the project’s “numbers” has enabled Justin R. Ring, P.E., to succeed in the municipal utility district and land development community of the Greater Houston area. After graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in civil engineering, Mr. Ring has worked on land development and special district projects for over 25 years.
Mr. Ring served as the engineering project manager for many communities in the area. Although many of his projects have been located in Fort Bend County, he has created communities throughout the region, working closely with developers to build communities for future homeowners, many of whom achieve the American Dream of homeownership for the first time.
Justin has worked with numerous municipal utility districts (MUDs) throughout the Greater Houston region, including Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Brazoria, Austin, and Colorado Counties. He enjoys working directly with the residents and communities he serves as an engineer, and he has strong skills in communicating technical information to community residents.
While dedication to his projects and clients is a large part of his success, Mr. Ring also builds relationships in his industry and community by working through many civic organizations. He is a Board Member at Fort Bend Green, serving as the organization’s Treasurer, an active member of the Central Fort Bend Chamber Alliance, Waller County Economic Development Partnership, Fort Bend Business Partnership, and the Fort Bend Business Coalition.
In addition to those civic organizations, he is active in many community efforts, including serving as Chairman of Odyssey Outreach, as Chairman of the Finance Committee for First United Methodist Church, Missouri City, and as Secretary of Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 163.
Justin sees that his career path has been successful, but he would be the first to tell you that the foundation of his success has come from home. He and his wife, Erin, along with their two children, Rey and Grayson, live in Richmond, Texas. It is the roots that he has put down in the community, with his family and neighbors, which support him in his success.
