Senior Project Manager

After spending time in the public classroom as a teacher, Jennifer felt the pull of environmental engineering and regulatory work. Little did she know that returning to work on her master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University would lead to designing and overseeing the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities and working with municipal utility districts through the Greater Houston region.

Through her more than 20 years in the water industry, Jennifer has worked on long range water planning with many local and regional entities, such as Region H and the former Fort Bend County Surface Water Supply Corporation. She continues to be involved in technical work groups and committees dedicated to ensuring safe and plentiful drinking water for southeast Texas. More recently, she has focused on the planning, permitting, design and construction of groundwater treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants and sanitary lift stations. Her design experience includes wastewater treatment plants as small at 100,000 gallons per day up to large regional facilities that treat up to 6 million gallons per day. After construction on the facility is complete, she continues to work with MUD Operators to rehabilitate aging facilities and work to optimize treatment equipment and processes through expansions and rehabilitation. Jennifer has served as District Engineer to both mature, residential MUDs and regional sewage authorities.

Jennifer is extremely active in her professional organization, American Water Works Association. She has served in leadership roles at the local and state levels and now is active at the Association level, serving as one of six Vice Presidents. When she’s not attending meetings, she can be found pal-ing around with her family. Jennifer also serves on the HC MUD 71 Board of Directors and the Finance Committee at church.
