Bob is a licensed professional engineer with over 30 years of experience in a multitude of civil engineering duties and a wide variety of distinguished experiences.

After graduating from Lamar University in 1986, he began his career in Florida, where he was introduced to site, single-family residential development, and structural design. This is where he learned the importance of establishing relationships with clients, agency staff, and contractors.

In 1993, Bob moved to Houston and began working in various roles, from design engineer to group manager. These roles were in various civil engineering aspects, including land development and public works projects, from conception through design, construction, and agency acceptance. He has served as District Engineer for multiple municipal utility districts (MUDs) in Harris, Fort Bend, and Montgomery Counties. Although most of Bob’s experience is on the private side, his experience on the public side includes extensions of water transmission lines and sewer trunk lines, lift stations, water and wastewater facilities, and roadways. He was also part of a team that worked with the San Jacinto River Authority to manage their Groundwater Reduction Program.

Bob also spent seven years on the development side, where he worked with a state-wide developer and was charged with the acquisition of land and performed the due diligence analysis on numerous properties in the Greater Houston area, as well as in San Antonio and the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. During the early years of this period, he also oversaw the development of these properties throughout the process of completing lots.

Bob has a wide range of experiences that provide broad knowledge, which can be applied to a client’s needs and to mentor young engineers in their career progression. He is a firm believer that communication is the key to the successful completion of any project.

Bob is a Houston resident along with his wife Leslie, a Houston native, and has two grown children, Robbie and Olivia. They enjoy spending time with their family and friends.
