McKenzie’s journey into engineering began with a fascination for the oceans and the desire to solve problems. She earned her degree in Ocean Engineering from Texas A&M University, where her passion for engineering only deepened. After graduation, McKenzie moved to Washington State, where she gained valuable experience working in the civil construction industry. It was there that she met the love of her life. After five years in Washington, McKenzie and her husband decided to move back to Texas to be closer to family and escape the cold and rain that is the Pacific Northwest.

McKenzie’s professional career has been marked by a strong foundation in both civil and construction engineering. She now leverages her diverse experience to support the growth and success of projects at Odyssey, where she combines her technical expertise with her knowledge of the construction process. She is passionate about finding solutions that bridge the gap between engineering design and project execution.

Outside of work, McKenzie is committed to her family and enjoys spending time with loved ones. She believes in work-life balance and makes time for personal connections, whether it’s relaxing at home or exploring new adventures and countries with her family.
