Megan Crutcher is a Principal and Co-Founder of the firm, where she leads with a clear vision rooted in technical excellence, collaboration, and sustainable community development. Her passion for civil engineering and her commitment to building empowered, high-performing teams have positioned her as a forward-thinking leader within the land development industry.
After earning her degree from Texas Tech University, Ms. Crutcher returned to the Houston area to begin her career in Hydrology and Hydraulics, later expanding her expertise into Land Development and Special Districts. This broad technical foundation shaped her strategic, detail-oriented, and innovative approach to engineering—allowing her to anticipate challenges, align stakeholders, and deliver solutions that create long-term value for both clients and communities.
Throughout her career, Ms. Crutcher has led projects ranging from small infill developments to large-scale, master-planned communities exceeding 3,000 acres. Her experience spans a wide range of topographies and regulatory environments, working closely with governing agencies including Harris, Montgomery, Fort Bend, and Waller Counties, and more recently expanding into Grimes and Walker Counties. She is recognized for her ability to navigate complex systems, unify multidisciplinary teams, and guide projects from concept to completion with clarity and purpose. Her leadership also includes extensive work in Low Impact Development (LID), reinforcing her commitment to responsible, resilient infrastructure throughout the Houston region and beyond.
As an industry thought leader, Ms. Crutcher regularly speaks at conferences and professional forums focused on land development, infrastructure, and Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs), thereby extending her impact on regional growth and economic development. Her contributions and influence have been nationally recognized, including being named Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) 2020 Top 20 Under 40 Engineer of the Year for Texas and Louisiana, as well as one of ENR’s National Top 20 Under 40 Engineers. She currently serves on the Executive Board of Directors of the Central Fort Bend Chamber, most recently as Chairperson in 2025.
Grounded in family and community, Ms. Crutcher believes meaningful leadership begins with strong relationships and shared purpose. A lifelong Houston-area resident, she and her husband, Matthew, have established their roots in Fulshear, Texas, where they are raising their four children—Kaitlyn, Hailey, Declan, and Claire. These values continue to shape her vision for the firm: to build enduring infrastructure, foster innovation, and positively influence the communities the firm serves.
